For details on the registration fees, refer to the page on the conference website: https://confit.atlas.jp/guide/event/jasid2024spring/static/registration
The deadline for early registration, which offers a discounted rate, is 15 May (Wednesday). Registration will continue to be open up to the day of the event for those who miss this deadline.
Receipts for payment can be downloaded by selecting “Receipt Download” after logging into the registration site. It’s important to either print this receipt or have the registration confirmation email available to show at the conference venue for check-in purposes. Please ensure you keep this documentation safe for reference. You can display it on your smartphone or bring a printed copy. Receipt issuance will be available until the end of July.
2. Regarding Social Gatherings and Excursions
On the day of the conference, 15 June (Saturday), from 19:00 to 20:30, we will host a social gathering for attendees to exchange ideas and foster networking. There will be awards ceremony and performances of a local African drum group Jambo Ichikai in the gathering.
If you have specific dietary requirements, such as vegan, halal, or any allergies, please do not hesitate to inform us. Due to logistical considerations, registration and payment for the social gathering need to be completed by 15 May (Wednesday), alongside your early conference registration. Please use the registration link provided above to finalize your participation.
The following two excursions are prepared on this occasion, both unique to Tochigi, and providing experiences that you can’t get as a tourist and only through arrangement by specialists:
- Option 1: “Thinking about development through the Ashio Copper Mine Issue”
- Option 2: “Exploring Japan’s Pioneer LRT and the Concept of a Compact City”
We encourage you to register for excursions simultaneously with your early conference registration. Further information regarding the excursions will be shared in due course.
