Q: I am a member of JASID. However, I was told “You are not a member of JASID” when I submitted a paper or applied for the conference

A: Simply applying for membership does not mean that you are a member of the Society. After your application for membership has been reviewed by the Executive Board and the first payment of the membership fee has been completed, you will be given a membership number and will be able to use the membership services as a current member.
