Q : I forgot to pay my annual membership fee

A: If you have chosen to pay by credit card, you can pay even after the due date on the invoice.
If you have chosen to pay by bank check, you will not be able to pay after the expiration date of the account number after it is issued.
If the expiration date has passed, please transfer the funds to the Japan Post Bank account of the JASID (fees will be charged).
If you fail to pay your membership fees for two years, your membership will be terminated. Please be careful.
For those who wish to cancel the membership
For details of the procedure, please refer to your “My Page”.
Handling of unpaid dues after withdrawal
Some members withdraw from JASID after several years of nonpayment of their annual membership fees.
They say, “I have not participated in the JASID’s activities for a while, so I do not have to pay the unpaid membership fees”.
However, we have continued to provide all current members, including those with unpaid dues, with membership services, such as sending our journals and various announcements.
We have incurred costs in providing these services. For those members who have unpaid their membership fees, we have been able to provide these services by defraying the costs from the membership fees received from other members.
For this reason, please be sure to pay up the unpaid membership fees when you withdraw from JASID. Even after you withdraw from JASID, we will continue to retain the right to bill them for their unpaid membership fees.
