*This event marks the third day of an international symposium taking place from October 29th to 31st (https://x.gd/B4nzF). The first two days will be held as part of the 7th Annual Conference on the Status of African Women at the University of Nairobi.

This symposium will bring together scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and advocates from various disciplines to explore the interdisciplinary approach to women-led initiatives in promoting gender justice in Kenya and beyond. This session aims to highlight the pivotal role of women-led initiatives in addressing gender disparities and fostering inclusive development. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, it seeks to generate innovative solutions and actionable strategies to promote gender justice both within Kenya and on a global scale.
