1）Open Tenure-Track Faculty Positions at the IDEC Institute, Hiroshima University
The IDEC Institute at Hiroshima University (HU) is seeking applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate the ability to take leading roles in developing innovative transdisciplinary research programs on topics related to sustainability, peace, and planetary health. The successful candidates should also effectively participate in education activities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful applicants should be willing to collaborate with researchers from the Network for Education and Research on Peace and Sustainability (NERPS) on inter-and trans-disciplinary research projects related to peace, sustainability, and their nexus.
Available fields of specialization (one position for each):
- Geomatics for Policy Research (including Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems, Environmental Geosciences, and Geo-spatial informatics)
- Social sciences for innovation (including economics, management science, political science, and policy science)
- Planetary Health Science
