12月4日（水曜）、上智大学アジア文化研究所はHassen Boubakri教授（チュニジア・スース大学）を招聘し以下のセミナーをハイブリッドで開催します。

Hassen Boubakri教授はチュニジアをフィールドとする社会地理学者で、地中海南北の移民や難民の専門家です。本セミナーでは、「アラブの春」後の地中海をめぐる移民・難民についてお話を伺います。

Institute of Asian, African, and Middle Eastern Studies at Sophia University invites Hassen Boubakri, Professor of Geography and Migration Studies at the University of Sousse in Tunisia, and hold a research seminar on the migration and refugees in the Mediterranean. In this seminar, he will talk about waves of migrants and refugees who have fled war or instability’s zones in North Africa, the Middle East and in Sahel. He will also focus on the migration and flow management policies implemented by third countries in North Africa and by EU Member States, including externalization of EU borders control.

Hassen Boubakri

Hassen Boubakri’s research topics focus on migration in the MENA region in general, in relation to its Southern (Sub Saharan Africa) and its Northern (European Union) neighborhoods: migration policies, irregular migration, migration and development, etc.
