その後、国際開発学会やHDCA(Human Development and Capability Approach)など国内外での学会で企画セッションを持ち、反応から手応えを得て成果を書籍として世に問うことを考えました。2018年にPalgrave Macmillanの編集者にお会いする機会があり、プロポーザルをお送りしたところ採用となり、三人で研究会をしながら書き進め刊行に至りました。
国際開発学会(JASID)と韓国国際開発協力学会(KAIDEC)の国際学術交流事業として、JASIDの秋季大会においてJASIDとKAIDECの共同セッション「国際開発協力を促進する新たなアプローチの展望(Prospects for New Approaches to Promote International Development Cooperation)」を2022年12月4日に開催しました。

また、この3年の間、査読に多くの先生方にご協力をいただきましたこと、ここに感謝申し上げます。 この3年間、佐藤仁会長の”Visible, Inclusive, and Entertaining”のスローガンのもと、誌上セミナーという取り組みを行ったり、討論というセクションを始めたり、グローバル連携委員会と共に学会誌の表紙を新たにしました。
継続検討事項=アイディアのストック: A. 人材育成実践としての国際開発や国際協力の授業の経験共有。
B. 開発学会員お勧めの小説紹介。
C. 15 分程度の「オンライン講座」(テーマごと)の発信。
D. 国連フォーラムの「国連職員NOW」の国際開発学会版。若手学会員がインタビューすることで国際開発の多様性や変化を具体的に学び、将来目指すべき道を考えるきっかけにしてもらう。
E. 国際機関やJICA はどのような人材を求めているのか、国際開発の教育はどのような人材を育てているのかを議論するフォーラムの開催(大会)。
F. 開発学会員の留学生はどんな「人材」を目指しているのか、どんな学びを期待しているのか、文字や言葉にする【学会誌の特集など】。
G. 以上の活動はホームページの活用と繋がっているので、学会のホームページをどう更新するかと合わせて考えていく。
